my day today~

well.. my day started off early today... with a lecture starting at 0830 am... my Sociology lecture. haha.. kinda like tt module... it studies the society, the relationships between people in the social context.. and looking at societies outside the box.... And today, was on the Ideas of Karl Marx... As the lecture went on, woah... i must say i strongly agree on sumthing he wrote in his books:

" Why people need Religion - the 'opium' of the people?"
(hmmm... so wat can u derive frm this qn? i'll leave tt for ur thots ;) )

haha... and so came his ans to tt qn: People create religion to deal with the REAL misery which confronts them. Right then, I felt as if i was enlightened or sumthing, cos I do share the same sentiments!! from then... i had been thinking ..... Am I a Marxist?? well i'm very much a realist myself too you know... ;D

Well watever *shrugs shoulders* can't be too sure too haha!

after socio, its my econs lecture... boring~! the module itself is boring already..... and imagine this... it is taught by a lecturer who only laugh at his own jokes and always puts on a dull face.. *argh!* total disaster i tell you!!

But i was in jovial mood... cos next i noe, i will be at the movies!! woo hoo!!!

yea... haha.. went to the movies with a close fren of mine (lolx.. he declined to be named :P) well jus in case u guys blur... Pleasure Factory is a R21 movie inspired by true stories and real-life characters, shot on actual locations, it tells an intriguing and intimate tale involving pleasure seekers and pleasure providers in Geylang; Singapore's popular red light district. Over the course of one night, a young cadet loses his virginity; a teenage girl gets initiated into the pleasure manufacturing process; and a jaded prostitute pays a young busker good money in exchange for a song he never gets to sing...

well i must say it does haf a fair amount of *ahem* to earn tt R21 rating...

but at the same time, for me, as most of these sex workers are foreigners, i felt sad for them...


*clears throat* ok after that, i and tt fren went home shortly after tt... lol!!

ok b4 i go... in conjunction with my first R21 movie experience (lolx!! yes.. yes.. laugh all u wan), i haf a R21 question tt i brought up to my fren during my journey home and onto you:

Hmmm... first post of the blog...

First and foremost, let me welcome you, the reader of this blog although this blog is meant for my personal use and only a few of my frens will come to know of this... but i still welcome u =D

Hmmm... jus had this sudden urge of creating a blog of my own and typing sumthing down... lolx! well... i personally think that blogging's a good way of venting ur frustrations, raising ur thots/opinions or jus sum random urges, like this instance.... dun u agree?? *looks around for raised hands*

Hmmm.. oh ya.. pls pardon my lacklustre usage of grammar.. my ang mo not very powderfull... HOHO!! Well yea, there u haf it.. me starting a blog.. and right now i dun even noe wat i'm trying to bring across... -___-"
ok la... guess i'll jus keep writing and writing... be it good or bad or annoying or boring... its my blog anyway... i haf every liberty to do wat i deem fit.. =P

hmm yea, the creation of this blog is based on the idea of a interaction platform for my frens (thats wat i think la.. but i'm nt sure how active its gonna be) and sum dark quiet alley for me to sit down away from the hustle bustle of the real life and let my mind wander oooooooff~ So pls do forgive if my posts are too emo or sumthing... =D
