Yesterday, met up with my old fren, Firdaus for sum photo taking.... Off to Pasir Ris Park we went.... haha.. without further ado, I present you my spoils of the trip (part of it ) ... =)

apparently, the local authorities still believed that the escaped terrorist is still in the mainland...

well i mean ludicrous really... do u all still believe hes still in the country?? well I'm not sure abt u... but as far as i am concerned, i tink he has most probably left the country... but well tts only my hypothetical point of view... No doubt, it will be very good tt if hes still in the country... more chances of apprehending him... =)

furthermore, i've learned that the search will be more targeted and specific... according to an article (Click on link to view) from Yahoo Singapore news...

so yea.. who knows? he might be caught tmr??

Class 3 : Pure Elation

haha yea!!! got my class 3 license today!!! haha... my test was at 830am this morning at Ubi Driving Centre... most ppl call tt "peak hour" and wld deem it as an inappropriate time for test...for there will be heavy traffic but well i had no choice.. my PDL expires today.. and jus nice a slot is available today.. so ya...


But well... I've succeeded =) yea!! but haf to be careful in the future, for there were mistakes during the test... ;)

Sumthing to share...

Well casually keyed "merry christmas mr lawrence" into the search engine in Youtube....

and as usual all the clips matching the key words listed out.... instinctively i clicked onto one clip...
and as always Mr Ryuichi Sakamoto nvr fails to move me with his famous piece... =)

but after listening to the song, my eyes strayed to the "Related Videos" column at the right and saw "Sylvian & Sakamoto - Forbidden Colours" Curious, I clicked onto it and listened...

for the next 4 minute plus, I was speechless... though the vocals may not be your cup of tea, with the accompaniment of such a splendid music, it exudes an emotional sadness... To me, its another classic... try it =)

well might as well put the main piece in too.. =)

Ah finally...

Last night, I looked at the night sky.... and saw tt the storm clouds were nowhere to be seen.... and i wondered

"Hmmm... will it be a sunny day tmr?"

And to my delight, this morning was a very sunny one... haha... at last, for the first time in many days, i see strong and bright sunlight.. =) With such a splendid weather, I left home for school with a smile in my heart and my face too... Coincidentally, I activated my mp3 playlist in my N73... the first song played was Corinne May's "Shelter"... so so right for the weather!! Her voice and the crisp music jus made everything even brighter!!

Wat defines you?

hmmm this qn jus popped into my mind.... so wat do you tink??

well the meaning of definition of one means wat dictates your behaviour in the society, how you treat ppl around you... practically its jus YOU..

Well to me, after sum brief pondering, i think its the evirnoment, the society itself dun u tink? Well of course, the way u r brought up is also important, thus making the role of parents paramount... But besides the role of parents... wat abt other aspects??

As I simulated the formulation of behaviour of one in my brain... friends, your nature of work can be the factors too... lets start with frens, well parents always tell u to mix with the correct group of frens... how true... i've come to realise tt too... thanks dad and mom!! well for example, if ur grp is a very outgoing, naturally unknowingly, u'll become more outgoing... if ur grp is beng-ish, haha well u noe wat i'm trying to say la... lolx... so ya, make the right choice =)

Next, your work... well there no need to elaborate more on this.. cos its more or less the same as the frens u mix with.... If the office politics in ur workplace is intensive, well u can expect a very much defensive profile.. thus accumulating much mistrust in dealing with ppl... not good not good...if ur colleagues are peace loving... haha yea... tink u noe the answer...

All these being said, wat really defines us is how we integrate the 3 factors - upbringing values, frens, work relations... and i almost forgot, the 3 factors are jus like 3 compunds... they need a catalyst to react.... yes the catalyst is none other than the society flow... its hard for me to explain.. but i can say its the so called 'big picture' =) well the 3 factors will eventually integrate and the result is YOU... =)

so yea... well we all haf different scenarios in our lives, no doubt there will be clashes... but if we all compromise and give in, the world will be a better place.... BUT be confident and firm, dun let ur behaviour sway to and fro...tt'll make ppl tink u r fake haha!!

Its been a while...

Its been a while since a movie impressed me so much.... the last time i felt this way was after watching Royston Tan's '881' =) well i am happy to say that this time, it is another local production!!

yeap... the movie's name is 'The Leap Years'

Caught this movie today... and i must say.. it blew me off my feet!!! Great acting frm the actor and actresses!!! namely Wong Li Lin as Chang Li-Ann, Joan Chen as Older Li-Ann, Ananda Everingham as Jeremy, Li-Ann's blue and blurry dreamy prince charming, Qi Yu Wu as KS, a childhood friend of Li-Ann's but holds a torch for Li-Ann. The story is inspired by the novella written by Local Author Dr catherine Lim - "Leap Of Love".

I strongly recommend this film to you, my friends.... For those who plan to watch it, pls do!!! but if u tink its a waste of money to pay for the tics, feel free to check out the movie's hyperlink i've provided above.. =)

haha.. well sum prob with my modem and a glitch in the blog so i can only update my blog today.... but the prob had been rectified =D...

well yea... well yea a couple of things to mention abt here... hmmm... ok.. bought the 500Gb Desktop hard drive at a very low price of $150.. =) haha now i can can store big stuff with ease!!! yea! haha...

hmmm.. next is my old fren Chye's bday!!! we've known each other since pri 1 and has been good buddies since... =) hmmm.. went for a KTV session with the bday boy and han b4 the main activity of the evening - A treat frm chye @ Sakura international buffet!! thanks for the treat chye!!! Hope u like the gift i got u!!! lol haha many turned up for the celebratory dinner treat!! only missing hao... too bad man... hope u were there man... well, to my good pal who is 24 now, I wish u all the best in life and strive for success in watever you do!!! =)

IT Show 2008

Hmmm... went to the IT show at suntec convention centre.... well its a friday, so ya naturally the crowd was huge... but it was still alright still haf space to walk around.... haha but i cannot imagine the scene at the Show today... its a saturday... WHERE EVERYONE IS NOT WORKING AND FREE... well.. expecting massive human jams... =D

Lucky i went there first ;P

Well went to the Show with bunny and prawn... they were looking for HDD.... and so was myself... yea.. they were looking for a particular brand called "Western Digital" or WD for short... 500Gb desktop drive @ $149.99... extremely cheap!! they both bought it without hesitation... haha... well as for me, i gotta wait for clearance frm my dad... and so i waited amidst the temptation... oh ya... also saw chye and hao when we were leaving suntec city... haha... oh yah.. did i mention tt i also got my birthday present for my good old fren chye?? lolx yeap... hope he like it!! lol...

ok... here are two random shots i found in my phone.. =) The first one was taken last tuesday night.... had supper over at selegie's beancurd shop (forget the name already) for sum chilled beancurd with syrup, fried dough sticks and a couple of egg tarts as u can see in the photo (sorry for the hands.. they were hungry... lolx!) .. wahaha... yea... chatted for quite sumtime before we decided tt it was enuf for the day.. lolx..

Ok... the next one is taken jus today, or rather ytd at bunny's hse... went over to his place to train (as usual) haha... hmm guess what was photographed? (well bunny, tink u know where lah.. lol...)

Yesterday...

indeed... there are posters of the wanted man, Mas Selamat Kastari pasted at the MRT stations... A logical move i must say... but i think they must increase such posters in the public places, so as to 'etch' the Man's face into everone's mind...

And not long ago, i was reading the Straits Times... I came across an article titled "Community leaders help with search" at the Home section. Several Grassroots groups volunteers, abt 100 of them, handed out 10,000 wanted man posters to the public. I was delighted... Oh did i mention that the volunteers consists of different races frm various religious and welfare groups?? yea to quote frm the article - "... to make it clear that the escaped detainee was an enemy of the people, regardless of race or religion"

Well... I think its time to be paying attention to the ppl we see on the streets... i'm not saying tt we must be paraniod... but jus tis little extra effort to occassionally look around and try to look out for/match tt Man's face... If the most of the population is doing tt, tt Man certainly has no chance to escape....
