Well.. hey, i'm sure all of you are aware of the recent and ongoing campaign frm NEA for us to save power right?? and they are having a 10% Energy Challenge Draw (click to view the details)
Switch off ur appliances if not in use, switch off the main swtiches to fully off the appliances... well all these words are often heard ......... and often forgotten or neglected...
Well, one fine day late last month, my mother decided to heed the words and started her power saving regime with us.... well, wat was needed to do?? very simple actually: switch off the main switches to appliances such as TV, computer, fans, toaster blah blah blah... and watever that we didn't use we'd switch it off... only switching them back on when needed... we've been doing this since...
Well the bill jus came... well... the practice jus started so i wun say tt it has really affected it alot.... but i'm seeing a $20 drop in the overall bill... but i'm sure if we keep abiding to this practice, more or less, there will be results...
But nonetheless, i tink we all shld be putting in effort in saving power for the sake of, NOT MONEY, but the effort to conserve energy and save mother earth!!
and of cos... save WATER too!! ;)
