Saturday....

haha... yo guys...

haha... i noe i noe... haf not been blogging...

first thing: movie @ VIvo city with firdaus.... well haf not met him for quite sumtime already.. old pal frm sec sch... so yea... due to personal commitments we were not able to plan a meet up. am happy it materialised... =)

Well.. Caught the movie "Wanted"... haha.. after the movie, i wld say its rather "Unwanted"... quite a disappointment i wld say... the plot is superficial, thus affecting the story flow... however the exciting fight/action scenes, consisting of slow motion, bending bullets, sleek moves, compensated to the lack of "Omphf" factor. tt being said, i mus still say tt the movie is not up to expectation... to think i held high hopes for this movie =( rating?? 2.5/5

After that, we decided to head over to the esplanade to try catch a glimpse of the NDP 08 rehearsals...arrived there at abt 4 - 5pm. As expected, the rehearsal was well underway... however, our only aim there was actually to catch the air display... apparently, we were a tad bit early for that... but its not totally boring though... we were treated to displays like kite sailing above the sea, performers wake boarding on water, the usual parachute display, plus familiar NDP songs... and yes, the marching contingent complete with the 21 gun salute....


Around 6.50pm.... with a famliar tune played frm the speakers... i preped my phone cam for sumthing.... seconds later, 6 jets streaked past us, as if to salute the on-lookers. Yes, this is wat we had been waiting for - the Black Knights, our very own jet aerobatic team. well.. still as spectacular as what i saw in Singapore airshow... jus tt minus sum stunts... =) here are sum pics i took... sorry no air display photos..






after that... we jus headed back to hougang...

him? back to home.. me? hehe.. to my usual sat night hideout.. ;)

Ah Q

Well thats the title of the contemporary dance performance that flo invited me to....


and my, am i delighted....


it was top classs!!!! very well choreographed!!! utterly mesmerised!!!! =)
A terrific Visual display of moves... it is sure to capture you by the heart and ur eyes glued to the stage.... woah.. wat a show... frankly, this is my first time seeing such performance as in live... mostly i watch these performances on tv.... well the feeling frm watching it on tv and being there is totally different!!

The choreographer is Mr Hong Sung-yop. The contemporary dance troupe is Dance Theatre ON.

Yet another hiatus.... well, didn't haf the mood to blog.. keke...



well, a couple of things happened these few days... firstly, my brother POPed frm his BMT stint in tekong.. and is currently awaiting his posting orders... keke.. hope he gets wat he wans =)



watched 2 movies - Kungfu Panda & The Incredible Hulk.



well, the first- a very funny animation film about a panda named Po, saving the day in his village against the villainous leopard, Tai Lung. Under the direction of his master, Shi Fu and 5 of his formidable disciples - Tigress, Crane, Monkey, Praying Mantis and Snake, Po overcame his physical barriers and became a formidable warrior himself... well, you get the picture =) hmmm, a rating of 3/5



Well the second - This installation of the Hulk is much more better than the initial version by director lee ang. It has a more sinister setting and more down to earth than the previous one. like IronMan, this movie was produced by Marvel Studios itself thus giving it an 'authentic' feel to it. =) Good graphics, intense battle scenes especially the show down between Hulk and The Abomination. Imagine 2 titans of immense power, battling out on the streets... haha.. everthing jus crumbles like sand... Nice show i mus say... i'm giving it a 3.5/5 rating



hmmm... tts abt it... oh wait, before i go....





haha... does this make you drool?? or hungry?? haha.. well went Marina Square's food court for dinner with my family... and my dad recommended this.... Katong Laksa with bread... the bread is hollowed out and filled with, in this case, seafood like sotong, fish slices with vegetables...The stall's name is Pong's Laksa House... anyway the stall has a quite prominent signboard, it should be easy to spot... The laksa was very nice!!! very rich and creamy and together with bread soaked in it.... HEAVENLY... lol really.. so ya, if u happen to dine at the said food court, give it a try ya ;)

oh my oh my, World Cup 2010??

..... i doubt we can even qualify for World Cup 2018!!

seriously, seeing them play... it is obvious tt the players lack communication... the soccer scene here is jus too small and underdeveloped.... and yet we haf tall order dreams like that....


Its jus like planting a seed, giving it jus a little water and expecting it to bear beautiful fruits...

An Old Flame.

There is an old half burnt candle in one part of my heart.... no flame's burning on the wick since who noes when....



However... with much passion igniting,

Guardian Angel...

well yea... upon seeing these two words... wat do u haf in mind??


For me, they are my parents....


i noe this sounds cliche... but i really haf to say they are my guardian angels.... (do not fret my frens, u r my vice angels =]) well dun u tink they are trully amazing?? its not abt responsibility or anything... but the unconditional love and care they give u... in this case, to me....

However, it is for tt very reason, i haf let them down.... looking back... i tink i had really let them down alot... misunderstanding their good intentions... I had let my blind heart lead me by the nose... and now, it is done certain damage.... i'm not sure is it repairable but I jus wann say i'm sorry...

I dun think i haf tt confidence and courage to face them and this fact... I wanna do good, i truly do.. its not tt i do not know.. i know the whole picture very well... I'm jus not sure... too weak...

When will i step out of this vile circle of psychological barriers?? am i up to it??



Or will i slip deeper into the crevice??

Many had happened and yet its not worth recalling... It like i've fallen into this deep crevice in the earth... Year after year, slowly but relentlessly, it accumulates... Only I myself will understand this feeling tt is pricking my heart from time to time...

I'm not expecting u guys to also contemplate this feeling tt i haf (if you DO care at all) There are reasons to wat i do and behave... maybe tts good? maybe it can make me see things clearly and mould me into a nice person?? well only time will tell...

well... within this dull personality of mine, am actually screaming... screaming for an improvement, screaming for a resolution in my life... screaming for freedom in this cooped up place called my heart(spritually spking)...

But I doubt that will happen... looks like its checkmate to myself... maybe all these are pre-destined??

FM 96.3 International Radio

Hmmm... yeap... tune into this station for good music... =)


haha.. i noe its strange for one to tune into a international station where u haf other good local stations... haha... i'm not sure about you? but i like piano music, be it classical or contemporary... =)

well being an international station, they do haf foreign language broadcasts, namely- japanese (in the morning, 7am -9am), German(12pm to 2pm), French (3pm to 5pm) and korean(9pm - 11pm)... yea... the time in between and 11pm onwards is Music Interlude(my fav) haha... check their site out for more information...

so ya, for those who share same tastes for music as me... give the station a try... =D
